could be windows defender scanning your folder... in windows security center ... exclude your EverQuest folder along with MQ2 folder .. this is a known issue with tiny spikes in game.

As Knightly stated it could be that windows defender is scanning your log files in real time... check in your everquest directory in the logs folde for the size of the logs.. use /log off on each char in game. to turn off logging you can also make a folder exclusion for windows defender for both...

Thanks for that Robban, i disabled mq2melee on my shammy and he's still casting. learnt something new..more plugin's i can disable.

You might have turned mq2melee off with "UseMQ2Melee=0" on a caster which unloads mq2cast also
