Problem - xtarget

when I start kissassist it will add one of my groups pet to xtarget. When it does this, it says it has detected an add and will not buff. What setting turns this off?

Also checking your groupwatch cond1 it has a typo just to make sure everything's covered.

I change the XTSlot=1 to XTSlot=0 and when I start kissassist it changes it back to 1

Oop, doublechecked, bard ini does show xtslot1 as well, my bad, that's a pointless reply to your problem then, I apologize. hmm. I'm not sure about the fix. I used to know kiss pretty well once upon a time after kaen explained lots to me but I've forgotten a lot lol

Shooting in the dark here, but any chance you're using a custom UI and have saved that slot on your xtarget list as something other than auto as a default?

oh yeah! that could definitely be an issue. i had forgotten about saved xtarget sets

I did it once as well, so I thought I would throw it out there. Hopefully that solves it.

Are you assisting a mage or someone out of group? If you search through the kissassist mac there are a few instances where it sets Xtar slots specifically if the target isn't a PC. Or if you don't have a main assist set in the group is in the logic too. I don't have time to piece it apart but who you are assisting definitely impacts that.

Here is one line:

If xtar is on auto, and there is no main assist set in the group, and I am not the MA, and the XTSlot setting isn't set and my target ins't a PC, set this target as xtar XTSlot.

I have no autosaved xtarget sets. I am not assisting anyone outside of group. I have 2 mages and a chanter in the group.

XTSlot is just a holder for the macro. If the XTarget is getting set to a mob, then you are NOT in group with the MA and what ever the MA has targeted gets set in your XTarget window.

I am using a mage pet as a tank. If I regret anything, it sets my xtarget as my current target. The mages pet is not attacking at this point

If you are starting the macro with the pet as MA, then the macro will switch the owner of the pet too MA, and then assist off the MA(Pet Owner)
