Why in the world does my ranger keep casting Shout of the Fernstalker,

i have it like this under buffs:

buffs1=Shout of the Fernstalker|Melee

and he keeps recasting it even though he already has the buff on, Shout of the Fernstalker|Me
does the same thing. How come other buffs do not recast with the same exact commands and this one does? For example, my shaman does Moroseness Rk. II|Melee, and it only cast it when the spell wears off.. SO WHY THE FUCK DOES THE RANGER KEEP RECASTING IT WHEN IT IS ALREADY ON????

|Melee would be casting it on all melee, so if another is taking it off or not accepting it due to another conflicting buff, your ranger does not know and just doing what you told them to.
|Me is for your character alone.
Are you doing both in the ini?

According to lucy, this buff seems like it shows up in the song window (i.e. the short buff box) and only has a 1 tick duration. Perhaps, kissassist thinks buffs should show up in the buff window, so it only checks like ${Me.Buff} but this would be in ${Me.Song}?

You could try and fix it by adding in your own condition checking to see if it exists there?

Oh, this is one of those cast 1 thing get 3 buffs things? (sorry I only play on a tlp currently and so have no experience with the current lvl 100+ stuff and this appears to be level 124 spell).

So I think you need to use the "dual" buff syntax since you don't want to look for the Shout of the Fern buff, but rather the 3 buff effects it adds, which appears to be Cloak of Neelespikes/Shriek of the Predator/Stength of the Fernstalker.

If it is a one tick duration buff maybe add it to DPS section with a |98|Once tag?
