Working on a trade offset for notrad/nodrop items.

I've got the offset so far the str is . 12921 and here is the offset I came up with, it works to trade, but it crashes my client. As well as anytime I try to drop the no trade item on the ground.

This cant be done as far as i am aware now

Only thing close to this was the sharebank no drop, but you could only trade to your alts and even then that got nerfed quickly and will get you flagged

I believe it was doable back in 05, Spunge.

The way cronic did it was using a bag-in-bag crack. If you put no drop items in a bag, it made the bag no-drop. If you put the entire bag into a droppable bag, it bugged out and left the bag droppable. You could then trade the droppable bag to another player and that player would just have to remove the no drop bag from the droppable bag and place it in their inventory.

Also, make sure to note that this is in the EQEmu forum, so more than likely this wouldn't be tracked on the EQEmu servers.

Yes it works, no it doesn't allow you to trade no drop items. By the way Siddin what are you working on for emu because chances are I have it. I've already got the CombatAbility struct, MovePKT struct, warp offset, and lots of other stuff including a working packet sniffer I just made.

I'm still thinking about it, because I'm thinking if I release everything and it gets as bad as on EQLive then EQEmulator will start updating and I'll have to update and that will be a pain in the ass. I made a ND, and it seems they've made that impossible already anyway. I'm still working on it, not because I really want it but just because I want to see if it's doable. Just post what plugins you want and if I have them and I don't mind releasing them, then I'll post them.

Get me the CombatAbility struct and I'll test ND, but we really can't talk about that on RedGuides. Also I SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY doubt I'm going to be releasing it so don't put all your hopes on it, even if it does work. My current version (I might have right CombatAbility struct but doubt it) just spams me with not ready on MB and doesn't do nothing on ND.

You don't just use a program. You need a packet sniffer, figure out the pointer, dissasemble the exe, and find the pointer and find the struct.

They don't use a modified client, they use a modified server. You have to put clientoverride=1 to even use any MQ on their servers because even if it's the right version the custom server will tell you no. They have tons of checks like instant LD when you warp/speed so I'll have to put anti-warp/speed code in there somewhere. This is definitely going to be a tougher server than emu to get everything working but I'm sure I can do it. Not right now though I have a bunch of other projects I'm working on for other sites and I want to get emu done first.

In Emu build 1090 they implanted a short code that deletes any No Drop items that gets traded, I belive. Im trying to get my hands on a EQ Titanium atm so I can help you with this matter..

I don't think this is piracy because it's just the files you need to backpatch from live to EQ Titanium. This isn't, however, the entire game but if it is considered piracy let me know I'll delete this post.

Thanks for your reply Unknown. Not really worried about warp and such right now. I'm really just wanted MQ for the time being to help me two box. Tired of switching to my shaman to run him. Would be fantastic to just be able to run macros.

I am waiting for my lost card to come in the mail to reactivate my subscription, but if you want I can find some offsets/hacks for you in Shards Of Delaya (Sp?) or another emu for you in the meantime.

I would just need someone to send me a MQ2 that works on it. I don't remember correctly but in order to play on shards you need titanium installed without patching right?

Correct Abyss, just install Titanium and run their patcher. I compiled MQ2 last night to test and see what works. It runs fine and hasn't crashed yet. Haven't had much testing time but I can upload it for others if they just want a basic MQ.
