Problem - Won't buff with Nimbus of the Wisp

1. Own Nimbus of the Wisp clicky
2. Add Nimbus of the Wisp to buff section of KA INI
3. Notice that KA will never cast Nimbus of the Wisp

I have my nimbuses in the buff section of my INI, cause I don't fight without my steez.

For some reason, KA won't click my Nimbus of the Wisp. Other nimbus works fine. Mq2melee is turned off and has no reference to Nimbus of the Wisp in it. Ran /kisscheck, no issues there. Updated all my macros.

No dice, still doesn't cast with:

Buffs8=/useitem Nimbus of the Wisp

I also tried both of the below; it chain casted the item in a loop.

Try dragging the icon of the item to a hotkey on your hotbar slot 1 and try calling it with command:/keypress 1

You can only have one Nimbus on at a time cant you???? So if u have Nimbus of the army of Light as Buff 7, then you will never get buff 8

I've always sported more than one nimbus. Do other players not see both?

Edit: If I cast two nimbuses on my character, I can see both of them in my other toons' window. It appears you can have more than one nimbus?

@MOTD "Buffs8=command:/useitem Nimbus of the Wisp|dual|Nimbus of the Wisp|me" won't work. When Using "command:" in the buffs section, you have to use a condition for checking if to cast the entry or not.

Thank you! Using Cond13=!${Me.Buff[Nimbus of the Wisp].ID} with /useitem worked.

Still, seems like this should just work as a regular buff.

Never was intended to be used as a standard feature in the Buffs routine. Was added as an advanced feature to allow for doing things outside of the normal scope of KA. That's why the command: tag is only supported by a condition.

Can you clarify what that means? Are clicky buffs not intended to be standard features?

I guess I should be clearer: while I'm happy to have something that works, I think it's worth noting that there's an item that's essentially just a clicky buff (albiet ornamental) that mysteriously doesn't work the way clicky buffs are intended to work, and requires a workaround with /useitem. Whether it's worth debugging, I leave as an open question.

@MOTD I think there was an issue with Item casting in KA 11.005, so while your "Buffs8=command:/useitem Nimbus of the Wisp|dual|Nimbus of the Wisp|me" should only need to be "Buffs8=Nimbus of the Wisp|me". So if, everything was working as intended for item casting, then we would not need to use the command: option at all.
