Day 2 of having it installed right before last EQ patch. Continued after patching.

Yes, all I have to do is start fighting mobs and it will happen usually at the first pull but sometimes it will take a couple.
I am new to this having only learned of it a month ago. My friend and guildmate have helped me to get this installed and working. I want to say thanks for such a great way to continue playing Everquest and not waiting on groups that never happen.
My group consists of the following:
110 Wizard
110 SK
107 Chanter
107 Mage
97 Shaman
97 Cleric

I am having an issue. I log on my Wizard and he will stay up until I attack. Sometimes he will be up for a while like 5 or 6 pulls and then other times he will just crash. I am not sure why or how to fix it. I and my friend have discussed so many things and were both beating our heads against the wall at this point trying to figure it all out. I am even using his INI file from his wizard that he has not had an issue with. I have deleted every file with my character's name on it from macros and while that did work for several hours it came back.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am loving the ability to have my wizard in my group doing much more dps then I can when trying to box him without program. Below is his INI file so that you can mabye look over and see if anything is wrong. I did notice that it put the [Kiss Error] at the end of script.

I would probably start with your conditions and try to simplify them.

i.e. you have multiple:
Cond36=${Target.Buff[Frostbound Alliance].ID} || ${Target.Buff[Shocking Vortex].ID}

each with a different condition #, use can re-use the same condition for different abilities.

I would also change the ${Range.Between[30,99:${Target.PctHPs}]} to be a simple >= check.

I don't *know* these are what are causing issues, they're just where I would start testing.
 
Thanks, I basically download any wizard builds that are up and seem current.
(If you guys have a food 110 Wizard build I will gladly try it out.)
After install I then change to my robe and gear I have like mount and what not.

The error message is nothing just says he crashes but I will log them on in a minute and post up what the message is.
 
Ok so went through about 5 mobs. Then got this

Hmm yeah that's a hard crash. Maybe one of the coders can identify more info from the crash dump file.

It's always the wizard? Do any other toons also sometimes crash? Does the wiz ever also get any errors in the MQ2 window like anything about the macro?

Wiz setup - Anything different about the wiz's setup? Is it a separate install folder for MQ2 or on a different laptop or something?

System - How are your system specs? Does loading the 6th toon kinda max out your memory or cpu usage? I've had systems with 8 GB that struggled too run 6-boxes. They'd do similar crashes due to the system running out of resources after awhile.

Plugins - Any wiz or caster-only plugins active?

You can also run a MQ2/KA log, which will tell you what the macro was trying to do right when MQ2 crashed.
 
It is always the wizard. No other toons do it at all. I can log 6 accounts and not run the mq2/kissassit and no one crashes.
I dont think it's a computer issue or it would be maybe last character logged on. It's always the wizard. No matter if I log him first or third or last. I was thinking he is trying to do an ability or spell or something in conditions area that causes him to crash.
I have tried several different ini files now and he eventually crashes on every one.

If you turn off conditions, does it run stable? Wiz will be blowing abilities and stuff like silly, but it will tell you if it's a condition error.

Ok my wizard didn't even go through one fight. However he was on for a good 20 minutes and went through several zones before I started a fight and he crashed.
 
On assist EQBCS2 just showed that everyone was going then says Paxzon has left the server and everyone did a requested names.
I will try run a MQ2/KA log after I get done with some work.

I'm suspecting it's not KA specific, but I'd try renaming your wiz ini and restart KA. Let KA make a blank one, then copy paste over one section at a time (buffs/dps/conditions..) until you generate the crash. Macros tend to just end if there's an error. Also those specs are plenty for 6-boxing, so we can probably rule out your system.

Whats on your active plugin list? [Plugins] section of the macroquest.ini in the Release folder.

Have you tried running a non-KA wiz macro? Like IHC's wizard macro?

I have deleted it several times and have reloaded as well as used fresh INI files. Nothing seems to work.

I have attached the log file from my latest crash to this thread. I have no idea how to read this.

Ah yeah as ctaylor22 says, it's the plugin mq2dpsadv. Your crash dump file listed the problem plugin as part of the dump file name.

Command in game is this, or unload via the Vanilla updater or in your macroquest.ini file.
/plugin mq2dpsadv unload
 
eqtrader. That appears to be working. I have gone 20 minutes now and no crashes. Do I have to do that plugin unload every time I start up the toon? if so no worries will make a hot key.
 
If you're not using it, you can disable it for all MQ2 loads of characters. The unload should turn it off, but you can check your macroquest.ini and set it to =0. I do it when everybody is logged off, so no toon changes it before they camp or anything, but that may be not required.

That plugin lets you run a DPS window. Its useful for seeing if a toon isn't running or something, but its not critical to anything else in MQ2.
 
Ok it appears that this has resolved the issue. I have been steady state for about 3 hours now and no crashes. Thanks everyone that took the time to answer and provide assistance I certainly appreciate it.
