Problem - windows cannot find my kissassist ini

was trying to tweak my kissassist ini today and for some reason I keep getting a message saying that windows cannot find charactersname.ini Make sure you typed the name correctly then try again. Not really sure what I can do to fix it..... I checked my antivirus to see if anything was blocked.....redownloaded the patcher and hit repair..... any other ideas?

and weirdly enough, it also says it for things like my loot ini and such.

On the toon type /mac kissAssist. If the file isnt there it will regenerate a new file. Check your Recycle bin for a deleted file.

Nope didnt work. the ini will work, I just cant edit it. instead of it having a document page symbol, it has a gear with a page. Im sorry Im so confusing, Im dumb when it comes to computers.

I tried deleting it and did the /mac kissassist. made a new file that I couldnt open and edit. damndest thing.

On your RG launcher click open MQ Folder. Then open your config file. There you will see your KA ini's

Yea Im in the config folder, I see the files I just cant open them.

#1 - make sure you have your file extensions visable

Right click on the ini and you should have an option to open with (could be any editor)

Try to delete one that you have a toon online now. Then run /mac kissassist on that toon. That should generate a new INI that you should be able to open/edit.
