Just as a notice: Batch is meant to pump out mass quantities of items, it is not intended as a skill up. Standard crafting is best suited for that task albeit not batch.
I believe they would start on Freshman tasks.
Yes, I realize I'm not using the batch as intended. You can use standard crafting for skill ups as you indicated. The problem with that is that you can't queue up things and just let them run in sequence for standard crafting. For levelling up to 300 for a bunch of characters it was much easier for me to just queue things up in batches and let them run. I've included an example of a batch I used so you can see what I was doing. This batch will take your jewelry making to 202 (or thereabouts depending on the RNG) using only vendor materials. The downside is that it will not stop a batch if you reach the trivial, but that's ok since I don't mind wasting a few plat for simplicity.
