Group is now all 110: almost max aa's on 4 of 6 (War, Bst, Necro, Cleric). All team is Krono. Have not really dabble past Empire of Kunark. From all I have read from site - it starts at the Tank. Presently tank is 220K HP in faded Snowbound. Would appreciate thoughts on what might I do to beef up the tank. One of my thoughts was to work on the Heroic aa by doing progression starting in Call of Foresaken. Down side to doing them there 0 exp. Alternatively should I be doing the Heroic aa's starting in empire of Kunark? Harder but will get some exp vs none.
Augs- It seems like the good ones or major upgrades begin in TBL. I would greatly appreciate your input- would like to play with the big boys one day.

Definitely focus on augs. Start with this list, all can be done with your current gear and setup. https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/ultimate-lazy-ac-aug-list-please-help-build.75/

Chardok, Gorowyn, etc. Easy camps, no one in the zones. Break-in camps for solo pulling is the only hard part.

To add to this, I just completed several of these augs on my tank. Had most within a few hours. Not a few hours camping one, few hours for 7 augs.

I noticed the granted AA's are missing a massive chunk of Tanking specific AAs. Grind em out while upping the augs and the hero special AA, which is what I am doing as well =-).
I also noticed I had zero issue with East Waste named while I played around. Don't be scared 8).

they arnt stealing your tanking AA's. they are released in tiers (cause DBG is lazy). are the missing advanced ones? yes.. but so are the healing and dps...

Personally, I would just work on TBL progression. You'll get a lot of type 5 drops along the way that will be better than whatever have now (probably mostly TBM?), in addition to currency to buy the vendor ones. Honestly, unless you're getting munched, I wouldn't worry about hunting down all of the type 7s until later. They can help, but TBL isn't all that hard anyway.

As you said, it'll be better xp than going back for older content, since I assume your primary goal is 115?

I hate to say it but the warrior is getting munch on in Gorowyn. When I was active last exp paid EOK , I did focus on the type 7 augs for the warrior. Watching the CWTN plugins I can view the HP that the tank classes have and they are significantly higher by a long shot ex. My Warrior is 226K HP with Faded Snowbound. However, I finally noticed that I don't have any Type 5 augs except 1. That maybe the problem. I have read the broken mirror you could purchase. However, I think its time to do progression . Should I begin in EOK ROS or TBL ( I think it is open now to work on those augs).

Yes, in the modern game, type 5s are basically a part of your equipment. Not having any is equivalent to walking around without your armor on.

If you don't have any type 5s, and you have some plat, I'd just buy whatever TBM augs you can buy. Even though they are only level 105, they'll give a huge boost over a naked slot.

If you don't have the plat, then, yep, it's time for progression. It sounds like you are way behind, so you should probably start with EOK or even TBM. I think TBM is kind of fun to go through once (not everyone likes it though). The rewards aren't as great as some other expansions, but there are plenty of random type 5 drops which will help you out. The currency is also tradable so you can funnel all of your groups currency to your tank first.

If you don't like TBM then EoK is the next best bet. If you are getting munched in Gorowyn (RoS), you won't survive TBL.

Sorry to hear that, I didn't have too much trouble with my group there with the same gear. Everyone was Snowbound, but I did have full set of type 5's TBM augs with Remnants.

Sorry to hijack the thread but came back to the game in nov from retiring in 2013, and still have a few empty slot 5s on my main so tank. didn’t know Tbms currency was tradable…going to have to earn some, thank you!!!

The overthere group mission is a easier one and quick if you have the dps and could use that to help farm currency for slot 5s while you do lower expansion progression.

Meh none of my krono pop (max aa’s/110-115) War/Sk have any augs and they destroy everything in tov in conflagrant and snowbound…the secret i found out is in the BP clicky rotation. You need you Anguish, COTF, and eok/ros/tbl/tov bp’s for the hard fights 3+ mobs …

I used to struggle bur once i started getting those 3 items i son’t worry about tanking ever. For best results do tank/bard/enc/cleric..and whatever that’s eqsy mode eq for life…i pull in while even or red con dungeons in the double digits now and never wipe

With war get the cotf life drain inserts and the life drain shield or go 2hs life drain…you can also go dual wield swords with life drain augs from cotf if you’re ftp that life drain as normal procs…vampire dual wield war rocks

I recently bootstrapped myself, there are definitely some pain points in catching up. Honestly, i think it's probably your group composition or your automation isn't hitting the right buttons is your biggest problem. Hard to tell without more information.

Snowbound is two expansions past RoS, and should more than make up for poor augs(along with other tov attunables). My squad had crap for type 5/7 until I started farming tov missions at 115. The gmm mission would probably be hard for you, but it would be the best gear you can get for yourself at the moment.

If you're struggling, i would recommend getting AA/XP in sathirs (or howling stones). Normally get a random type 5 drop from trash per hour there as well. A second priest can allow you to keep moving forward into harder things - drop back to just shm or cleric once you get things figured out and tank geared better.. Once you get the important aa, get levels, and start tov progression at 112.

I disagree about getting heroic AAs, they aren't that great, mainly atk and mana/end Regen. they won't help your tank much. Important progression is TBL (Janna veil), tov (level XP and type 3 restless Aug progression), tol(levels). If you enjoy doing progression, RoS should appropriate but skip the missions for a bit because they're quite hard relative to the rest of the expansion. I would wait to do TBL until 115+ though .

Aa and levels are most important. Don't camp augs if the XP sucks. 115 unlocks big upgrades with tol attunables.
