where to download eq on a diff machine without cd's? (1 Viewer)

I used this trick to get Eq on old school computer.

Or, just create a network share and drag and drop the whole fucking folder on new PC.

Make sure you edit eqclient.ini on new PC and change the default resolution to something like 800 x 600 because launching or you will get a client crash.

Or, alternatively you can just change the resolution on your main PC to 800 x 600, camp desktop then copy the folder over to your new PC. That way, the rez is already at 800 x 600 and you don't have to hunt through the eqclient.ini for the lines to manually change it.

This works 100% of the time. EQ does NOT install registry hooks that are needed for the game to function. ( I love those types of games )

yeah i drag and drop my EQ / MQ2 and another folder to each cpu i run .. and it all works.. 8-)

You can also just copy the Everquest.exe file onto a disk ... create a new folder on the other comp, put that file into it, and run the .exe file ... all the files will download from that.

That or easier way copy n paste your eq folder, and it takes 10-20mins instead of 5 hours.
