servers had had enough stability issues its not a hard stretch to think there was a patch

we havent even seen the test update this month so any live patch is likely the 19th

They said this patch cycle is normal this month ' test on second wed and live on third wed

That was my thought too when i saw the 8th (and missed the dec part lol). i was like ahh, patches will be on the 8th now I guess
