Instructions

1. Use the Patchme command to bypass the SOE Launcher
2. Download the Very Vanilla compile zip file at the bottom of this post.
3. Download the RGUpdater.
4. Use the RGUpdater to update your MacroQuest files. Instructions are here.
5. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
6. Run EverQuest.exe
7. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
8. Click Here for Plugin Commands/Descriptions.

• If EverQuest crashes when trying to log in, make sure you're using the newest RGUpdater.
• If you're using Internet Explorer and having issues with "attachment.php" or Smartscreen Filter please read here. Or just use any other browser.

OK, I'm confused. I keep trying to download RGUpdater 1.3 but all I get is 1.1. The notice above says I should be using ver.1.3 Is that old, and was it actually a reference to 1.03? Nevermind, I thought my problem was with the updater. Now, I see it is a "sneaky patch."

There has not been a change to eqgame.exe so the update for MQ2 should be quick and simple.

EQMule says no later than 8PM EST. I guess there was a change to eqgame, I didn't see anything download though so ehhh.

Looks like they are patching Test right now to match Live. Hopefully that's a quick fix too.
