MQ2BagWindow is Here!
MQ2BagWindows is the the current solution for the broken item swapping and items in bags.
MQ2Melee, MQ2Cast, MQ2Exchange, MQ2Cursor, MQ2ThrowIt, MQ2Feedme all of these plugins have been rewritten to support MQ2BagWindow
BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE DOWNLOAD THIS FILE and put it in your everquest/uifiles/default folder or custom ui folder.

  1. Using the Patchme command to bypass the SOE Launcher
  2. Download the zip at the bottom of this post
  3. Unzip to a folder of your choice
  4. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
  5. Run EverQuest.exe
  6. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
  7. Refer back to this post for any syntax and plugin descriptions you need

I can't get healer, fastheal or kiss to work for healing. my cleric just sits here looking dumb, I just noticed also that the other toons are not casting DPS spells. Mq2cast/mq2melee broken or something?

I have keys duplicated, but only with mq2 loaded. esc clears target and jumps, home does two functions, page up/down does nothing. Is odd.

CTD when loading after EQ starts. EQ crashes in mq2mail.dll when MQ loaded first and does not start at all. EQ was patched and validated first then started with patchme. INI files not changed since previous version.

MQ2Melee does not buff at all ? - downshits not working, no error messages.

Try unloading mq2 plugins then reloading

/plugin mq2cast unload
/plugin mq2melee unload
/plugin mq2cast
/plugin mq2melee

If that doesn't work unload MQ2

/unload
right click MQ2 icon in system tray and click exit
restart MQ2

reload your ui for mq2bagwindow

Edit your macroquest2.ini make sure mq2bzsrch is not being loaded.
If the problem persists remove plugins until you can log in.

The Redguides updater seemed to work fine but I had same problems as infiteye with no casting. However, when I manually changed MQ2 to new release version above I had no problems. The Reguides updater is a great innovation though thank you.

I tried using both the updater and manually updating files, but neither mq2cast or mq2melee seem to be working. Not sure if other plugins work or not, hard to box without the two staples.

yes they are not working right...well they are working but mq2 has errors in it that make them not work...mq2cast and melee are not working as we want...should be fixed soon tho...the dev cats are working on it!

MQ2 source is still buggy. The devs released the code just so people could use it. There are a lot of reported problems and they are working on it now. Hopefully we will a more stable MQ2 release tonight. So please be paitent and let us know of any problems you are experiencing.

Current Alt Abilities are not working in MQ2. This was affecting MQ2cast last patch as well.

If MQ2Cast isn;t working for you try loading EQ first then start MQ2. You have to reload your ui for mq2bagwindow.

Your suggestion gets mq2cast working, but I'm not sure how to reload the ui for mq2bagwindow. i assume there's a special command? And, as a background question, what the difference between loading mq2 before eq vs. after eq?

"/loadskin default" is the answer to your first question...
none is the answer to your second... except you don't have to reload your ui

Downloaded 20121129 yesterday using the new RG download tool. Kissassist seems to be working ok when mobs are in camp but pulling is affected. At work until 3 but will upload ini's for you then.

yea MQ2Bzsrch is busted till MQ2 devs get around to fixing it... this patch really messed things up with bzsrch

in your MacroQuest.ini just look for the line that looks like MQ2Bzrsrch=MQ2Bzrsrch and remove it

Try unloading and reloading MQ2

/unload
Right click MQ2 icon in system tray and click exit
Restart MQ2

Reload your ui for mq2bagwindow

The only problem I run into now is when I load another toon in that wasn't in when I started MQ. I loaded up three toons and started the melee and cast plugins before typing /mac kissassist. I know it starts them automatically but it seemed to not do something right when testing before. Ranger_001 would follow mobs and spam in melee that he was attacking and casting but he would do neither. A friend advised me to start MQ after entering the game and manually starting the plugins before starting kiss. This worked, I pulled a mob and everyone attacked/casted buffed themselves and others. I then loaded a fourth toon and attempted to load the plugins then kiss the same way, no dice. It seems I have to load in every toon I want to play before starting mq or not everyone will work. Hope this helps someone. I also reload my UI's every time just to be safe because the bag window keeps showing the error. I believe it's doing this to me because I have pieces of my UI that have not been updated for the expansions agro meter yet.

actually seems to work. Melee acting weird if I load MQ before I start EQ. I just tried /unload and then start MQ again, and now melee working fine

Anyone else having issue with burn? Before on the previous compile it would blow my burn right on startup which was really annoying. Now on all my toons, i say the burn phrase and it gives me this error.

it shuts down my macro and then i can't re-activate while the burns are running so it's quite annoying.

Seems that MQ2autosize is still broken, I get crash to desktop when I load it everytime.

For some reason I am not able to get warrior to use his discs with mq2melee ... i use the command /melee aggro on, and get the response

I have attempted to reload MQ2, unload and reload MQ2Melee etc, but doesn't seem to work. Other than this one thing, which isn't really major as I can easily manage agro on the other 5 toons, I haven't had any issues whatsoever with this compile. Thanks guys for getting it up and running so quick =D

I can't get kiss to work with my mage and shaman.. I've loaded and unload and reloaded everything nothing seems to be working
