So im having this problem on all my 6 of my chars off and on. I update date their ini file every 5 lvls. but for some reason my chars will still cast spells no longer in there INI and after i run /mac kissassist again. For example my chanter has clarity now but will still use breeze even tho breeze is no where in the ini file. Anyone know whats going on and how to fix this?

That's unusual. Can you post the chanter's current ini?

The other thing that would cause this is if KA is somehow still loading the old ini. Double check your macros folder doesn't have two versions of the chanter ini. Maybe one is kissassist_gandalf.ini and one could be kissassist_rathe_gandalf.ini, or something like that. You could also rename your current ini and force KA to load it, via:
/mac kissassist ini kissassist_gandalf_test.ini

Another, more rare option, is that you may have two installs of Vanilla. The updater can sometimes make a second one if you used a custom folder install the first time.

Hey thanks for the reply, So I've fixed the issue by having No spells in my spell gems when i load the INI file. I dont know if thats how it suppose to be or not but fixed all my issues lol.

Okay so my trick of removing all spells in spell gems is not working anymore..... ive also deleted my ini file and remade, still having the same issue. any idea?

Are you ending the macro using /end
before starting it again? Perhaps there's some left over stuff from starting the macro again while it's already running?

The other option is to verify you don't have two installed paths like eqtrader74 mentioned.

Also, ensure you are saving the file after you make the changes. If you don't save it, then it's not really there.

Soooo...I ran into this problem not too long ago. I had two issues going on. One I was banging my head on the wall over as it was only happening on my tanks/melee, and it was because my /mac kissassist hotkey I had changed to a fixed version for the jiggle issue and once it was pushed I forgot to change it back, so it took me a bit to figure out why my macros kept ending on certain toons.

BUT... let me ask you this, when you click on your macro folder is the icon in your "recent places" ? That caused me grief before. Check your macros folder on your desktop if thats where it is, pull up an ini, leave it open, then go to your recent places macro folder and open up the same ini and compare those 2. (If you have another location, open that macro folder and again, compare the ini's to see if they are 5 lvls different. It sounds like you are updating not the start string macro folder ini, but a different one thats not in the start up string.
