I looked all around and did not see this, if someone else has posted it I am sorry and you can take it down.
What you need is a Harvesting ( like you get when you finish the Tradeskill starting quests or the one from the new adventure pack) only bag in at least one spot. and fill up the rest of your bags, if you loot something else it goes into the overflow slot, and you don't get the your bags are full message. I don't know how big the overflow slot is, I had about 10 items in it and an added bonus is the overflow slot does not add to weight.
