Problem - Unable to right click inspect items

Ever since I installed MacroQuest I am able to 'right click' to open bags but, if I try to:
-right click inspect and item in inventory
-right click a spell to see what it does
-etc.
It does not work. At first I thought my mousepad was broken but, as I said, I can open bags.
So, the trackpad is working just the right click inspect function is not.
Is this a known bug?
Is there a quick fix?

Silly question maybe but are you holding down the right click for a second or two to inspect? Or try Alt-Left click or even f12 I think toggles it on/off.

I do hold it for a second or two. I also tried just tapping

Either of the other two options work? If not, I would try another mouse to be sure. Could be failing and not allowing the hold I suppose

hit uour left alt key a few times and the ctrl key too, sometimes when you tab around from eq to another thing, eq sticks the buttons.

General server lag causes this too. Once in a while, when I try to inspect an item or even click an item link, there will be a noticeable delay as much as 1 minute before it will show up.
