Question - Unable to load MQ2nav

Load up the Red guides launcher on a second PC. Install MQ2. Hit the update Mesh button for Nav. Get the pop up and the updater. Successfully DL meshes.

Log into game.

Type /plugin list

17 plugins listed and no mq2nav.

Type /plugin mq2nav load

response:

Plugin 'mq2nav' could not be loaded.

Any ideas what I might try to fix the issue would be greatly appreciated.

could be a couple of things.

This can happen if you don't have the correct (june 2010) direct x 9.0c

or also a known thing is to check here in your registry

Check your registry for this path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers Remove anything you find that mentions eqgame.exe or mq2nav.dll

Went to the MS download site and updated DirectX.

Upon logging back into EQ, MQ2Nav was loaded and working perfectly.
