Question - two issues

so i am super happy with my group and how things are working but i have ran in to two problems the 1st is i have run in to a few namers where i need to stop attacking while the mob is enraged and once the fight starts i can not figure out how to make my group stop attacking and the second i have run in to is mobs that spawn adds and you need to kill the adds at certain points to be able to dps the named further i try to get on the tank and switch targets but she always switches back to the named mob and wont stay on the adds. thanks all

with cwtn toons you can have your team with switchwithma on and if your ma targets itself or otherwise clears target - your team will as well --- if your tank swaps targets, your team will follow.

with the cwtn stuff we also don't lock your tank on anything if you need to swap you can just swap

My ghetto solution would be to switch to healer and do a hotkey with /bcg //mqp on and another with /bcg //mqp off.

i am running my bard without anything mq2 war mq2 zerker mq2 rogue mq2 cleric and mq2 shaman

i understand what your saying and i did try but when i switched to the tank and switched targets so the others would switchwithma the target kept switching back to the named mob instead of the trash i needed to kill its prolly something im doing i will keep trying its no big deal i was just wondering if what i was doing wrong was obvious to anyone thats all thanks for the reply i appreciate it

the only time you would swap back to the named is upon the other mob dying, it would pick the "priority target" as the next target when your current target dies.

it does not change targets otherwise.

You could also realize that there's a time to box...and a time to take the reigns my friend . In general, when i run into situation like this I take control of dps and let the healer/mez control run auto.
