Question - Transitioning to F2P?

if you drop to non-active sub status without the rk2 unlocker, all of your rk2 or rk3 spells will still work, they just cast the equivalent of the rk1 version or rk2 if you have the unlocker from the DB store. Most of my boxes never purchased the rk1 spells, I used the rk2 that I had on my main from hunters and missions so I didn't waste the plat. All of their spells work fine even though they didn't purchase rk1 and don't have the unlocker.

Thank you, perfect some of the spells surface at more reasonable prices in bazaar from time to time.

Since this confused me here is what I found.

If I memmed the RK II spell while being a paid account then when I dropped to F2P or Silver/non paid that those RK II would cast as RK I, even though I never memmed RK I on paid status. They would not cast as RK II once the character went free

In order for the free account character to continue to cast RK II then he had to buy the unlocker. Which can only be seen and purchased by free accounts.

If I tried to mem an RK II while free (with no unlocker) it tells me I do not have the right level of membership and to consider upgrading.

As an aside, including the artisan prize. getting the best FTP augs in each slot for a 115 is roughly 1070 additional gear AC and 50 shield AC and nearly 200 hdex including maxxed AP. getting deft diamonds on top of that yields another 800 hdex and 280 hstam. you can flip these stats with the resilient amber.

This is a decent enough bump to make a difference.

Edit: this is keeping tanks in mid for the most part.
