Question - Tracking who needs what

What's the best way you all have found to accomplish this?

I.e. collection quest for prog, ea toon needs 10x whatever. I always struggled figuring out who needed what, how many ea. toon had etc.

Ha figures. I posted a question here about outputfile commands ingame before I checked new posts, but still I hope there's an existing command rather than necessitating a plug-in or macro.
