So i know everyone ask these questions about how do i make plat blah blah blah. im trying to assemble something a little different

A couple of thing i know to farm: spider silks yen server about 1-2 pp
HQ pelts bears wolf etc 10-20 per
ports as a druid or wiz can net good pp

Im trying to get people together to compose like hey in these example zone stuff drops 2-3 plat per kill and its a 25 or 30 zone

just to help people looking in some of the not so obvious places like farm geb boots or robe in lguk

if this is already dont please help others find because in the research ive done i didn't see it on this amazing website

I have just been going about my business to level my toons and check /bart. Using /bart and selling vendor loot, I am getting 1-2k platinum depending how long I am playing. Things like HQ pelts and fine or exquisite silks do sell well on /bart but I am not going out of my way to farm specific items. Not sure if this helps but sharing some experiences.

Be well. Happy gaming.

i find this link handy

tradeskill stuff by zone -

planes of power still drops lots of stuff you can sell for plat... i farmed crypt of decay for diamonds for a long time

look up jewelcraft stuff - gems usually are the best stuff to sell to vendors

I have never played on a TLP, but my go to spots in classic EQ were the guards in Misty Thicket. They drop a shield that sells for 10pp each if I remember correctly, you might need to create a halfling alt to sell it for you though. Also Highkeep guards are good for 5pp per kill with FS swords. Both spots you can get a bit of xp (around level 25-30ish iirc) while you farm as well, although Highkeep is better for this.

Not sure how popular either spot would be these days, when I started HK back in 2000 there was no one doing it. It wasn't long before it became a fairly popular spot.

Edit: There is a vendor in HK who was traditionally on Beta Neutral faction so you could sell to him even as an evil race, or a good race who has killed tons of HK guards. Again just going off memory but I think he is located at 13 on the below map:

There is a list somewhere on the site of pp drop items per zone...i ran into it a long time ago. Make sure your autoloot has "keep" on all the high pp items

Upper Guk has spiders that drop a lot of silks
Make a port class and offer ports for tips - average should be 10-50 plat
Make a shaman and sell potions
Go kill bouncers in Oggok and sell to the melee augments merchant(he will sell to anyone) by the tunnel

I always liked high keep guards for plat and Fine Steel drops early on.

You can increase profits on fine steel by breaking them into bricks and peices then making peices into bricks.

Each sword breaks into 1 brick and 2 peices. 3 peices make 1 brick. Bricks sells for about the same as sword. Basically assuming no failures you get 2 extra swords worth of value for every 3 you break down. Trivial is only 21 on these combines.

Edit: technically I think it’s profitable to take them all the way to blocks, but more chances to fail a combine the further up the ladder you go. Small bricks seem to be a sweet spot imo.

Doing some exploring if you have the firepower sol A seems to be very profitable not only from the coin mobs from 5g-2pp but u also have tons of FS weps and namers galore
