Baking Notes getting past 300 to 350! (Biggest tip is use jande's Tradeskill macros!)

1.) Make sauces ahead of time at the Brew Barrel (about 20 of each per character, they’re cheap, and it saves a tremendous amount of travel time!):
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Beer-Based Batter
  • Beer Braising Sauce
  • Butter Sauce
  • Garlic-Butter Sauce
  • Grilling Sauce
  • Lemon-Butter Sauce
  • Smoking Sauce
  • Spiced Sauce

2.) You can delete or sell the intermediate combines using those sauces and the listed meats here below! The results will show the Tradeskill tag but they are not required for skill-ups! They are used for “book learned” recipes! (For example, Beer-Braised Al-Metes is used in 8 recipes like Beer-Braised Al-Metes Jerky… but those 8 recipes are learned by scribing a book and won’t help you get 350!)
  • Al-Metes
  • Brell’s Bounty
  • Crab Meat
  • Darkhollow Basilisk Meat
  • Dream Meat
  • Freshwater Fish
  • Horse
  • Minotaur
  • Nest Dragon
  • Nest Drake
  • Planar Goo
  • Shark Fin
  • Timeless Hunter
  • Treant Vegetables
  • Tuna Meat

3.) Similarly you can delete or sell all the Pie you make! For example, Cherry Pie counts toward 350 and has the Tradeskill tag, but the Slice of Cherry Pie is book learned and won’t help you get 350!

EDIT to Add #4 for those of you using jande's excellent Artisan tradeskill package...

4.) Things will go much quicker if you manually block those recipes requiring a rare drop! I blocked all these and still had no trouble reaching 350!:
  • Nest Dragon Meat
  • Nest Drake Meat
  • Nest Drake Eggs
  • Horse Meat
What this looked like in code is you modify the file called tradesman-block.ini and add the appropriate recipe numbers like this...
