Question - Throwing Skill

Looking through a few things and currently have a need to skill up throwing for ANY toon class. Before trying to take on another to do, does anyone have a macro or easy set up they use to skill up the Throwing Skill? Also, do you have a source that is inexpensive and EASY to get for any toon for ammo to do?

My first thought was to just set up two toons with a key pusher set up to fire range items at each other in a duel set up. Us extremely low dmg level items and maybe a bard song aoe going off so they can go until ammo depleted. Let me know what you guys have. Thanks!

Throwing is very easy to level up! no macro needed...
1st) get a bunch of throwing items (or an item that summons throwing items)
2nd) take 2 toons down to the Arena (the one you want to level throwing on and one to throw at (or 2 you want to level throwing on works too)
3rd) pop a healer merc on the one that's going to get hit.
4th) put the throwing items in your ranged and ammo slot.
5th) target the one that's going to get hit with the one you want to level the throwing on.
6th) type /autofire on the one you want to level throwing on, and let it throw..........

Totally forgot all about /autofire. LMAO.. This is essentially what I was thinking of doing although think you can /duel the two toons rather than run to an arena anywhere. Is there a cheap stone or shuriken that can be purchased in surplus? I'm looking at 12-18 toons skilling up at one time. <smirk>
 
if you got a mage...summon them (is what i do), POK does sell them (throwing knives i believe), they are fairly cheep...

/Dual sometimes has its own glitches, like healing doesn't always work, and we don't actually want one of your toons to die....
 
Thanks Meistro. I'll do a little more looking. Not fearful of them dying. These are all lvl 70+ PL'd toons and in gearing them up s they hit lvl 80, need their throwing skill up for the gear stats! :)
 
You used to be able to skill up by throwing shit at the Nexus Scion at the port rings in tox or North Karana too
 
btw when you get to leveling it and you need kiss to aid you here is the proper code....
