Ok. I know we've all encountered the problem of being in the position of receiving a quest and it being accompanied by a container used to combine this or that being collected during the task steps. And undoubtedly like myself you are always sorely lacking the free space required to put this quest container in a top level slot. Meaning normally you would have to pop over to a bank and juggle some things. Well no more. This is a very easy work around that will make the quest combine possible without any hassle. Simply hand any of your top level inventory items (bags, boxes, ect.) to your mercenary. This will open a trade dialogue box. DO NOT click anything. Now you have a free top level slot. simply move your quest container into this spot, add your quest items/ingredients and combine. Now move the container and the crafted items back into an existing bag in your inventory, then click cancel on the trade window for the mercenary. Viola. All done. This also works on the fly for tradeskill items like poison crafting and alchemy, etc.
