I gained 8 pounds. I didn't eat eight pounds of stuff this weekend. Where did it come from?
Could it have been my mascara? Did my Reebok jacket get waterlogged with eight pounds of sleet on my run this evening? How about the eight pounds of alcohol that I drank on Friday and Saturday; could it have decided to stay for a while? I'm befuddled, like cheerleader playing with solitaire a 51 card deck.
Oh well. Someone pass the chips.
