Question - Test setup

Hi all,
I want to get setup on test but not quite sure how to go about it, ive done searches on here to try and see if there is a guide or anything but cant see anything like that.
Ive created a copy of EQ seperate from the original specifically for test.
Do i do the same with MQ2 and redfetch ?
Any help would be apreciated

yep - you'd just set redfetch to "test" and use that - you have to also be using "test" from the eq patcher as well for the eq directory that redfetch is pointed at.

make sure you read:

EverQuest (live servers) were brought down for a scheduled patch. Here's what to expect on patchdays.
Will there be a live patch? While our priorities are shifting, the new live/test update team was able to patch test after several late nights, and are now hard at work on live.

I've seen a few have questions on how to get going on the Test Server, so I thought I'd put together a quick guide to playing on Test.

NOTE: You'll sometimes see people say that using MQ on Test is safer than using it on live. This is not true. There is a smaller population base, so you have less chance of getting seen and reported, but you absolutely can get suspended and banned from Test just like you can on Live.

Just to reiterate what has been said in other threads, the test build still has some issues. It's playable but if you're worried about "safety" I can't tell you it is or isn't. I've been running F2P throwaway accounts since the build came out.
