Your best bet now a days is just check out guides on EQTraders and find items you can mass craft using vendor items. Later on once Abyssal Sea (Gates of Discord) comes out I think there are some macros though. Not sure of the state of them as I only remember them being a thing back when GOD was released haha.
Google "TLP tradeskill Guides"
Almar's has a site that pops up with links to everything for all of the tradeskills, simplified routes for skillups and such are there, with links to relevant info. Eqtraders.com can also give some info, but it is a bit bloated with all of the newer stuff and not always as simplified for Progression servers.
Macros aren't really needed, and unless you don't mind spending hundreds of thousands of plat, you'll probably prefer NOT to have a macro so you can adjust on the fly.
Have recently pulled all of my tradeskills over 220 for the Signet earring quest, and smithing is one of the more expensive unless you do a boatload of farming.
