Question - Sickle of Umbral Modulation

I changed the spell in my macro to use Sickle of Umbral Modulation. I didn't change any of the wording (I think) but my mage chain casts the spell when the sickle is resetting. Any clue what I have wrong based on that small amount of info?

what macro? you didn't mention nor post in a location that would let us know.

if kissassist you likely need to adjust one of your entries in your ini from "Wand of Frozen Modulation" to "Sickle of Umbral Modulation"

I'm pretty sure I only changed the name of the spell and item. He doesn't chain cast it constantly but I catch him chain casting it during non combat times.

is the actual item just "sickle of Umbral Modulation"? without a "Summoned: " part?

if so then it is probably trying to just cast it here instead of using the item

if this is the case you would likely have to change it to something like

buffs4=command:/useitem "Sickle of Umbral Modulation"|mana|75|cond1
Cond1=${FindItem[Sickle of Umbral Modulation]}

I had the same issue and set mine like this. The result is pretty much the same as Sic's. Not sure if doing it this way makes much of a difference, but I think it will avoid unnecessary attempts to click the rod when it's not ready.

Cond1=${Me.ItemReady[Sickle of Umbral Modulation]}

you will want to put quotes around that "Sickle of Umbral Modulation" otherwise you're going to click the first match you find of sickle

but yeah good call on the item ready
