Problem - Shaman not buffing properly

I am fairly new to KA and I am sure that I have something messed up. That being said, my shaman is not buffing the way I expect him to.

I use my beastlord's pet as MA. He casts Incapacity and Savage Growth after every mob regardless if the pet has the buff or not. He doesn't cast Unity on anyone but himself (He is set to look for the stamina buff on purpose. I main a Beastlord, rank 3 Beastlord focus is better than rank 2 shaman focus).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is part of the reason why the BL pet is not getting buffed properly. the shaman is checking the Kissassist_Buffs file for the pets buffs, and if the pets buffs are not being written to the ini file the shaman will skip buffing the pet...
 
is there a command to run KA but lets me do everything?
or something that just runs the buff system?

I had a similar issue you can /mqp to pause it and do buffs. Since unity is a long lasting buff just cast on the BL then when it starts wearing off you can just pause the shaman and rebuff everyone, then /mqp to restart the macro going again.

I would also have the shaman start medding earlier than 20 unless you are having him sit on a mount.
 
You can do "/mac kissassist manual". There's threads on this that explains it. I don't use it so not sure, but I think as is, it will just run the DPS section and if you want you can turn on other sections for manual..like buffs.
 
I run "/mac kissassist tank" and then use the /backoff command. I get the buffing actions, but I have control.
When I want to afk I just click /backoff again and it's autopilot.

if you need to stop for a sec you can use "/mqpause on" and "/mqpause off"
