Problem - Selo's Sonata bard AA buff won't fire

Hello,

I am stumped on an issue where my bard will not fire selo's sonata AA. I put this entry in the buff section.

For some reason it just spams the announce command and in my log it says "you do not have this ability" but I definitely have the AA. I can manually use it. Any idea the issue? Thanks!

Try it without the quotation marks.

well firstly its not a spell its an activated AA ..

alt act=selo's sonata

im just guessing here ..
does Gem=alt mean your telling it its an alt act ?
but you have
Spell="selo's sonata"

maybe the Spell is throwing it off or the "" surrounding the selo's ? as woobs mentions ..

Perhaps you should try firing the Bard. Roll a Chanter using CTWN Plugins. Just my thoughts.

In modbot ``gem=alt`` is for AA usage. ``gem=#`` is for spell gems and ``gem=disc`` is for disc. Also the obvious ``gem=item``

if u really want to use kiss i have ini files for bard from 85 to 115 my own made.. but i have moved on to rgmercs very easy to use and dont have to rewrite files everytime get new spell level up etc

The AA casts the spell "selo's sonata". If you do NOT HAVE the spell the AA will fail.

Go to Lcea and buy the spell.
