20-25m Completion of Heroic Scouting Ahead

Requirements
MQ2EQBC or it wont work
Auto follow feature on macros used by other toons. REQUIRED
Looter someone must be set to loot and it cannot be the tank.

Scouting Ahead SK Version 1
1. Download the files below and place all of them in your macros folder. Now rename the DH_SK_tankname to your SKs name.
2. Open the DH_SK_yourtankname.ini and fill out the correct information for your SK.
3. Run /mac deadsk
(If you have used Into the hills SK version 2.0 please change toon5 to LooterName in your ini and download the new dead2sk mac as that has the change also) You can use the same ini for both macros.
4. Open loot.ini and change Xulous Spellbook = Keep, Dynamite = Keep, Excavation Tools = Keep, Dusty Xulous Artifact = Destroy

Tips for proper use.
1. If group geared tank use 2 healers otherwise it can be very bad. A few times it can aggro 4 mobs and at the end ive seen it aggro 6. Pathing here sucks because the end is a bunch of ruins so if he ae taunts in the middle you will want 2 healers or 1 very quick CCer.

What it does
It takes 1 path from zone in to the end you need someone in the group set to loot.
Once the looter loots the quest items it will tell him to /useitem if that does not work right away it also does this at the end to make sure it completes the quest.
If the quest is completed before killing all mobs (you get the drop) it will click it and will run back it will not kill all the mobs. I've seen it leave 6 + mobs up.

Known Issues
Pathing the end is ruins like area and getting toons to follow you and not get stuck is tricky. This version is for testing and feedback to see how to better handle that.
This uses /chasedistance 15 for kiss and seems to work so far for the last part.

are the deadzone.mac and DH-SK_tankname.ini files the same as used for "into the hills"? if not wont this cause problems with running that mac?
 
Trying this one since I seem to have a hard time with the other with not pulling or my toons falling off the bridge. Noticed that it took 4 times of /mac deadsk before he would start the mission when I was in the zone.

run fairly good . ran twice so far. when my guy got to the ruins the first time he gave up when the los of the mobs that drop the book was not there and then ran the crew back so did not get rewards for completeion. The second time got the item I needed on the seond mob so he ran back and compted
 
This has been working GREAT for me ... Any chance you can nock the Pathing poitns down to path 11 or so ? then run back because the catacombs part is just a time sync now.
 
With new epansion out that would be great grind if the pause timer to enter the zone and everything was faster too :)
 
I adapted it to work with my paladin
i'm running into issues with looting the shields/dusty artifacts of the xulous creeps,
or just looting in general. ive had to manually run my necro back to loot.

i've gotten some big pulls right off, its fortunate i was watching so i could pop my bp clicky and a spire or so.

Running a wiz, two caster mercs on balanced (can't promise that my tank can keep aggro when burning), cleric, and necro.
 
Bump~~ Still curious if you can have it stop around path 10 or 11 where it wont go into catacombs make thes missions much faster for afk grinding .
 
I ran into the recurring problem where my paladin will go running deep into the Xulous mobs right after the first stage,
It's as if there is some failure in check /pulling at the point and results in him thinking there are no mobs and rushing to the next,
which usually involves 5 mobs with my group on my hip.

He's been pulling with demand of honor, don't know if its range or not.

It's point 6.
