Question - Rollbacks for plat floods?

so it seems like something went down with plat supply on oakwynd tonight.... went to sell a krono i had lying around and apparently i got caught at the very start of some sort of plat dupe/hoard unloading scheme. normal price was 82k id been watching it for hours while i played with friends, i sold one around 100k to help get my friends set up and soon after saw the price shoot up to where everything was buying up a mil per krono. i didnt wanna interrupt anyones gig so i waited till things settled but has anyone seen how this is handled on the TLP servers?

im curious because i just happened to sell that krono right at the start of it, how do they handle things like this? heard people mentioning a rollback but i dont really believe DBG is that responsive but i havent been involved in tlp much.

On FV there was and may still be a shortage. I think people are hoarding plat for the release of the new Xpac. Not sure what else is going on.

There is currently a dupe and I would stay away from doing any Tradeskills, buying, or selling Krono for a day or 3.

Oh, and several have been banned (temp) from the discord for spamming about it. So, DBG does know about the issue but I doubt they will do a rollback. There was a bug for a few hours on Mischief/Thornblade back in TSS that if you zoned in Frostcrypt and logged out and back in you would get max AA's. They didn't roll that back or ban anyone.

thats what i would advise as well. from the point i started watching there was an extremely clear reckless dump seemed like a dupe. the krono for 80k had been there for a while at decent stock, it was within a span of 10 minutes they decided to dump, and i think i happened to sell mine right at the start, thinking i was slick for catching a lull and getting an extra 20k. watched them start to get sold for up to 1m per within 10 mins. settled down after a while but people were clamoring about it.

id avoid it like the plague if you have any other projects going on. TLP is a risky business these days

They will handle it however they decide. In the past there have been roll backs or the gains were stripped from the players, suspensions, bans, unsuspensions, no action at all and the list goes on.

We cannot say with any certainly what, if anything they will do or how they will handle this. I would think because of the server it is on that nothing will be done. But don't you try this on a live server, nah uh, no sir.
