I've seen people float this idea a lot about a "RG Emu" and wanted to make a post to gauge interest.
A few things to keep in mind...
-Emu database is currently up to OoW. They are working on Dragons of Norrath, but due to systems changes this has been a substantial amount of work. The last update was in 2021 more or less saying they were working on it. They have been working on it since 2017, so take that as you will.
-Some features you're used to on Live are not part of Emu. No Advloot system, no new key/illusion ring system, no achievements, AA overhauls not in place.
-Game operates on Rain of Fear client, which released in 2012. So there are some limitations on what the client does versus what you may be used to.
That out of the way, knowing the above, would you still play on an OoW locked server if you were allowed free use of MQ?
How many would you play? (Important for hosting requirements)
Would there be changes to the Classic-OoW experience you'd want to see? Think along the lines of adding instances for non-instanced content (AoC), not heavily changing the game or content design.
