rezzme

Whats the issue with rezzme command? I used it yesterday and have an invalid corpse, how can i get rid of it , if any way, afraid i may get banned because of this. I saw it mentioned on another thread, then nothing after..any info would be appreciated. Has anyone gotten banned for this yet, or is there a valid excuse i can use if im approached because of it?

Do not use rezme, it is broken. If you have to use it, use it in an instance. I found out the hard way it disconnects you, but at least in an instance the corpse will disappear after the instance ends (it does not pop outside). Unless there is a fix found for it (i.e. like we have a block on speedcrash, maybe there is a rezcrash packet too?). I will load my sniffer later and test....but my time is limited as I am in the process of relocating.

Not that I've seen. It may go away on server reset/cleanup but not sure.

Only thing i have found is when rezzme is used, can then click the X at top of EQ (windowed mode) and will camp you, you then come back with all your buffs and exp without needing to get an actual rez. So if in instances could be nice, but have to camp and such, and reload

This is correct although this immediately sets off an error server-side. I would be VERY careful attempting this sort of thing. Even in an instance - it isn't safe.

yea, everything about that screams "hack" to anyone paying any attention. And the corpse will still stand out. As with anything, be aware of what you are risking with that trick.

I have found a way to deal with the corpse. I unfortunately found the problem with /rezzme in game before I found it here on the forums. How I got rid of my corpse was to use the veteran's reward Expedient Recovery. Since then I have steered clear of the whole mq2rez plugin.

instead of camping out use fade to reload you right where you are in the zone and that takes like 10 seconds !

you can also use /gate if you have mq2piggyzone loaded to bring you back with full buffs and all that.. still cant get rid of the corpse afterwards though. its been broken ever since they changed it to where you automatically have all your gear on you when you come up from death.
