Question - Remote Control ? Kissassist?

I am currently using my 95 shamans tank merc as my groups tank.

My group is as follows
On desktop pc
95 Shaman running KissAssist with tank merc
83 Bard running Kissassis with damage caster merc

on laptop
92 Necro with healer merc (I control this one)

I currently have to grab a second mouse and hit the hot key on the desktop with the shaman window in the foreground, to set the tank on passive while I am pulling. Otherwise, the stupid merc will agro on whatever the necro is pulling, and go barrel-assing after it and get out of range of the rest of the chars in the group.

I would like to be able to do this remotely. Via a /tell if possible. ie /tell shaman Merc passive/active

Is this possible? Can kissassist do this? Is there another macro that can?

cant you just set yourself as puller and the merc wont assist till you are in camp?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. I am set role as puller, and merc is set role as Main Tank. As soon as I get within whatever aggro range the tank merc has, he goes for it. Which almost always is out of range of the rest of the group. Then I have to switch to the Shammy's screen and set merc to passive, which causes the merc to return to camp. Real PITA sometimes.

No kiss does not have that kind of control over a merc. i will add it though next release coming up this month.
