A friend introduced me and I have gotten things set up so that I can duo and not have as much screen swapping. However, he mentioned that he uses /burn for when he wants to burn down a named. I get the following when I try to look at the help:

DoCommand - Couldn't parse /burn help

We tried a couple things, both using the red guides launcher, I restarted the PC, RG and EQ (in that order) after checking Load EQBCS with MQ. I got the plugin manager to load, but now I am not sure where to find what else I need to load to get the burn command to work. Is there a guide around this somewhere?

TIA,

- E

what automation are you using? you didn't say and didn't post in a section that would indicate

/burn is going to be for kissassist and maybe? muleassist

which means that automation has to be running for that to happen

Sorry, I am running whatever is loaded by default with Very Vanilla, plus muleassist for when I need automation. Maybe I misunderstood him, but he indicated that you could use this command when not using muleassist? I did find /nuke which looks like it MIGHT be what he was talking about, one of us could have mixed up the name, although I did write it down when he told me.

you need *something* to do stuff when you issue commands - which would be a plugin, a macro, or a Lua script of some kind then doing stuff when you did a bind/alias burn

I thought so, but he set his up long ago and seemed to think it all just came installed when he ran very vanilla. That's why I was looking for a guide, I figure I will run into more questions and things he has done and forgotten. I looked over the guide for muleassist and it was very helpful for the INI file set up, but not much on commands to execute in the MQ window, what the prerequisites are for different plugins, macros and scripts, etc. I don't mind reading and figuring things out, just need a place to start.
