We are the in the final stages of programming the login.
I will be posting for beta testers later this week.

This is the most advanced Emu Compile in Existence.
All the plugins are that currently available in our Very Vanilla compile are included.

It is built over the MacroQuest2 Source Code of 11/1/2015 and is fully RoF2 compatible.

It will run the most current macros, like KissAssist 8.4.2 limited only by the EQEMU Server.

The tentative price we are talking about is a monthly sub at $5.99 if you just want the Reign of Fear Compile.
If you already have a Level 2 sub and want it then it will be $2.99 a month.
 
Is there a post where I can read about the RoF2 features? $3 isn't a lot and if it gives me something to do while farming in EQ I'd be down. I'm just curious how leveling, grouping, botting, raiding etc is going to work on this emu compared to other emus.
 
AFAIK, RoF2 is just the EQClient that they use for the emu. It's not a specific emu server, but the client used to connect to the assorted servers.
 
Oh so this isn't the RG emu server that I saw mentioned a while ago? It's just a generic compile for all emulators running RoF2.

Was hoping the RG server was going live, lol.
 
Reign of Fear is an RoF2 Based MQ2 Compile for EMU Servers but it has all of the Latest Live MQ2 features.

I have resurrected Red Planet as Dark World but it is not an official Redguides EMU.

It is more of a personal EMU test server but I will give people access if the want run around on it.
 
Could someone explain to me what this is exactly? Is there a specific server that you need to pay $3 a month on?
 
It's a copy of MQ2 that works on emu servers running RoF. It'll work on any server running RoF but it's $3/month to use the actual program. Not a bad deal considering how much extra work needs to go in to it.

The $3 a month, if you already have a level 2 sub, is for using the Reign of Fear Compile. The compile requires you to login in order to use it. If you don't have a current sub for Reign of Fear it won't run.

If you don't play EQ on live servers and just EMU then it will $6 a month.
You will have access to the level 2 forums but will not be able to download any of the other compiles, Live Or Test.

Possibly The Hidden Forest
Possibly PEQ
I believe SSDark is RoF2 as well.

I think a large majority are UF client but those seem to be converting to RoF2 slowly.

You can login to most servers from any client but a lot won't offer support for technical errors unless you're on their recommended client... Which is usually underfoot or RoF

That's pretty awesome. I used to run an EQEmu server, and used to compile and distribute it to the public. It was fun back then. Any chance of adding a sub to this for redcents, like level 2 access? :)
 
No sorry. We have spent so much time and money on this project it is going to be a straight up monthly subscription.
 
Im wondering what EQEmu server uses the RoF client and is worth playing? I played on Project1999 for some time but guess the new compile wont work there.

Atm I play on the new TLP servers and have great fun there. Was just wondering if you people know any good Emu servers that are worth playing and not a ghosttown.

The main ones are (I believe) THF and EZserver. You might be able to use this with PEQ as well, I'm not sure other than that.

Try PEQ. We started work on OoW and 3 zones are open for testing now :D
 
Since it seems a lot of you don't know the only thing that restricts or disallows a client mostly is just the opcodes that the server has in the server folder (most server owners dont restrict clients unless its a p99 or similar server).. A new upgrade script has been added to the original repo and from what I've seen on the other forums a lot of people are using it. More and more servers will be upgrading and allowing the Rof2 client if they dont now.

Its freezing everywhere (in US).. went from WI, to Texas (panhandle), to CA (near LA), to Utah (via Reno, NV)...hasn't been above 50, and most places were 32 or colder.....
 
I am pretty excited about this! The main reason I avoid emu servers is no kissassist. I will almost certenly be subbing once you go live. Now just if I can find a copy of the RoF client... LOL
