Question - Redguides Launcher MQ2 Test: Patch Day - Unavailable July 13 2022

Hi Team

I log into redguides then very vanilla and then launch Mq Test as I want to log into the test server. It says Last Installed: 7/1/2022 11:05:30 AM and Patch Day - Unavailable. When I try to log in the versions of eq test and mq2 do not line up and am unable to use mq2 via redguides. Is there anything I can to do to fix this? Thank you for your support.

yes. when eq patches MQ has to be rebuilt.

once mq is built RG can build - we usually try and test stuff first.

eq could change literally everything requiring any and everything to be rebuilt but usually not the case. it is normally just offsets, sometimes struct changes --- with the large changes eq has been making over the past few months (updates and backend improvements) there are more things than just offset changes that are happening, so it can certainly be a lot of work for the devs.

EQ typically patches the test server the second tuesday or wednesday of the month
EQ typically patches the live servers the third wednesday of the month
EQ typically "true-up" patches test to the live build on the 4th tuesday or wednesday of the month.

unfortunately that means that the test server is down more frequently, and requires more rebuilding
