Hi all, new to this, and struggling to understand the logic. I've read and re-read the main file for KA. I searched forums and other public INIs for what I'm doing wrong, but still can't figure it out after hours of trying to get this to work.

Buffs1=Talisman of the Doomscale|Dual|Doomscale Focusing|MA
Buffs2=Talisman of Celerity|Dual|Talisman of Celerity I|MA
- Won't buff on starting KA, if MA needs it. Will buff if it drops off MA or off me.
- 1) Shouldn't it be seeing that MA needs the buff on starting KA ?
- 2) Why is it rebuffing when it's dropping off me? Isn't it only watching the MA?
Buffs3=Savage Growth|MA
- Buffs MA on starting KA, regardless if MA needs it. And buffs MA every ~4 min, regardless if MA needs it.
- Does not buff when it drops off MA. Shouldn't it see the buff drop?

Silver account. MA is another character in group, not a merc.

I would change the Celerity to |me , or have |class|war or whatever tank , since it’s a group buff. I also don’t think I have the Roman numeral in mine.

for incapacity, I use the class tag as well

without the roman numeral, it chain casts it every 10 seconds

KA's buff routine requires the other toons to run KA (or a related macro) to update each toon's buff ini. KA writes their current buffs to that file, then the buffing toons read it to see who is missing what.

Since you're not running KA on the MA, the shammy is just winging it on when they rebuff. Like at macro start or random times when they think it wore off (4 mins on the shorter duration buffs.)

If you don't want to let the MA run auto, you can use KissAssist's Manual Mode and you may need to turn buffs on so it writes to that buff ini. It's either "/buffson" or "/buffson 1" command once you start manual KA.
/mac kissassist manual - starts kissassist with everything turned off.

If you want a more advanced option, you could look into setting up mq2dannet or mq2netbots/EQBCS to relay buff info from one toon to another.
