Question - Raid Assist Options

Our raid leader will not set a second assist in raid because it will confuse some players. There are times that the raid assist is not helpful because they are splitting DPS between mobs. Is there a plugin or Lua that will allow you to ignore the raid assist and set an assist in the extended targets window?

you're asking about the cwtn plugins - no the cwtn plugins uses eq assigned raid assists if you're in raidmode or group assigned main assist while in group.

we have an entry in the FAQ about utilizing "other potentially conflicting things" for assisting - just be warned that you are potentially opening yourself up for problems.

if your raid leader doesn't want to assign a raid assist - don't use raidmode and then utilize your group main assist

you might consider asking for a new raid leader if they don't want to win

i think RG mercs has an assist list you can set each person to assist a specific target. idk of any way to change it on the fly though should your assist target eat it. CWTN in raid mode has some nice hotkeys you can make to switch the assist but it wouldnt help if only 1 raid assist.

I turn off raidmode when I want my tank I have in the group control what mob I am putting DPS on. That way my toons just assist my main guy. I normally just run him manually when I do this, so I can set an extended target slot to the raid MA target.
