Question - Question re Progressive spells using CWTN plugs

With new progressive spells coming out with The Outer Brood, I'm not sure whether to scribe them yet. I assume that, if I do, the plugin will start to use them? For now, my NOS one will be better as they are all maxed out in terms of ranks. Or are the plugins magically aware of this and will only use the best spell? If so, wow - that would be quite a feat!

Going to assume I should wait to scribe them unless told otherwise. I guess I could use BYOS but that has downsides too.

cwtn and sic has often made the judgement call to use older progressive spells depending on several factors, some of them being that the older spells at the current state of your character was better, so i dont think you should be worried.

Just like every other time, they'll be evaluated (once dbg is done messing with stuff, they were behind this year and very slow), and tier'd (and if they fix robes for shaman, evaluated for double duration.

In the meantime, if you have the new one, we're gonna use it.

For classes like bst you can still choose to use the lowest one

Much of this is very class dependent. Not all progressive spells are equal. Example, the beastlord spell is a complete waste of mana and its advised to the original level 101 version. The effect on that spell that everyone wants (flurry) is the same for all version regardless of which level. Its doesn't change no matter level or progression. And the newer version is super mana intensive.
