Is there anything in mq2 that would let you see what chest has the stone tongue for that katta mission?

No. MQ doesn't let you see loot on a mob or in a chest ahead of actually killing/looting that mob or chest.

Just to keep history alive, mq used to let you inspect mobs and see their loot if it was wearable. That ended in middle of pop era.
