Problem - Pulling around corners

I have started going from outdoor zones to indoor zones recently and I am having issues pulling. My camp requires me to go around a corner and pull a mob. Kiss will run my puller up to the corner but rather than go around the corner and pull, it just runs back to camp. If I turn kiss off and just /nav to the target it works just fine but if Kiss is running it will just loop from the camp to the corner over and over.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or user error but maybe someone can help.

And just for some more background to the issue:

I was running in Chardok at the first castle (about 8 mobs in) pulling mobs from inside out front. The issue is when he runs inside and attempts to go up the ramps on either side. The issue is with both sides. Nav can make it just fine up to the top but kiss cannot make it.

Have you tried making your radius larger, as well as your z radius for pulling? Only time i get something similar to what you're describing, is when my "as the crow flies" distance is within the maxradius, but when he has to navigate their via a non direct route, it exceeds it momentarily, and resets..

try larger numbers in those two ranges to see what happens
With kiss running, type:
/maxradius 300 (or higher than whatever you have now) for your x/y radius
/maxzrange 100 for a larger height range than you have now (again, just put a larger number than you currently have)

See what that does first, then time to look at next steps...

i believe without having proof in the code, its a los issue, with your character coming into range but not in los, and then he returns, have you tried pulling with melee or?

but if nav seems to be working correctly by him manually /nav target working...my guess was that its something in kiss thats stopping it.. and from my experience in droga (OMFG i hate that zone), i would see this sort of behaviour alot, because point to point, theres lots of mobs 'reachable', but as i path all around all these tunnels to get to the mob, i would inadvertently exceed my pull radius, which would cause my puller to turn around and return to camp.. Only fix for me was to make my radius big enough to include my path TO my target as well..

yes if you doing a manual /nav target, you dont have kiss watching for being in pulling range and not having line of sight.

i am still uncertain if it actually works proper, or its still experimental of sorts, but there is code in kiss to check for thje pull path length when using mq2nav. so i suppose it could be that kind fo behavior, but then you should up the pull range a bit, and since you probably not gonna clear that huge area anyways it shouldnt matter.

I'm with increasing your pull radius, although not sure nav actual pullpath length matters so long as it is within your pull radius. Like your puller can run 1000 units in circles to get to a mob, so long as it's all within your pull radius.

I always /mapfilter /spellradius XXX to figure out what pullradius to do to include/exclude what I want. That'll put a green ring on the map corresponding to what number you put in for spellradius. Castradius which KISS puts on the map, I think shows how close your puller has to get to a mob before they can use whatever PullWith item/aa/disc you use and what % you use for PullRadiusToUse.

only way i fixed this was editing my nav mesh file on the zones this happens in, its a los issue atleast is for my puller, kinda had to limit how close my puller gets to the walls around any corners or that happens to me.

could always change what ur pulling with to some thing with less range that way puller has to get closer to the mob

Had alot of problems like this since release 10. something, any Z range difference and it fails also, for instance a building with a roof the puller runs to the wall and gets stuck instaed of running into the building and upstairs like it used to do. Sometimes it gets stuck in an endless loop running back and forth in a small area along the path. Not sure if the problems is MQ2Nav or kiss, but pulling is unreliable atm, chainpulling not working either..
