Problem - Pullertank wont pull, stuck at camp.

So i'm trying the camp at loping plains, but my warrior set to pullertank keeps looking for mobs to pull and stands still, even tho there's a gazillion mobs around to pull.

This will happen if there are no mobs in Line Of Sight of your camp. There can be mobs in range, but if they are not LOS then it will skip the mobs. Load up MQ2Nav and create a Mesh for the zone and it should start pulling for you.
 
I don't know, just throwing it out there as I'm new, but is it possible to create a pulling Z range from +500 down to say -500? If set up on a hill it will constantly bounce your Z all over no?
 
The Z range is bases on your Z axis , so z range of 50 is really 50 above and 50 below your zrange.

Changing the z range for pulling will only help if there are mobs in LOS of you, but the mobs are to far above or below you.

In hilly zones with lots of obstacles you have to use MQ2Nav with a mesh file for the zone. Otherwise Kiss will only pull mobs that are Line Of Sight of your camp.
 
Make a folder in your MQ2\Release folder called MQ2Nav and put this file in it. Then load in game and do /plugin mq2nav then start KA as normal and it should use the mesh.

Under your MQ2 folder .. /Macros folder, you will find a file called KissAssist_Info. Open that file with a text editor and check to see if the mobs you are trying to pull have been added to the ignore list. Each zone you have been in has it's own section, so using the find command us useful.

Are you sure MQ2Nav is loaded and working correctly? You can test it by targeting a mob and issuing the /nav target command. Your character should take off after the target.

Well if thats the case my mq2nav isnt working properly, because when i type /plugin mq2nav it says mq2nav loaded, but the /nav command isnt working. What should i do in that case?
 
Well i guess this stuff is just too much for me. MQ2nav wasnt working at all i think, so i ran the update, after it it would load /nav ui, so i went to meshgenerator and generated the zonemesh again, seemed it would work, but when i type /nav with a mob targeted it did nothing, so i fiddled on the navui and saw the option to reload mesh, or something, at that point the game crashes, everytime =(


edit: sorry i'm a retard, it's working. for some reason i tought /nav target, was targeting some mob and typing /nav, turns out i have to actually target the mob and type /navigate target! lol well guess i'll get some exp tonight! fuck yeah!!
 
well ok, i have no idea now. mq2nav is working nice, it goes to the mob or player when i /nav target. when i /mac kissassist pullertank it even says it loaded lopingplains mesh sucessfully, but the damn thing still keeps looking for close mobs, and waiting 5s aaaaaaah. i even tried to put Zrange at 500 and it doesnt work, is there any other thing i can do on KA to make this work?

edit: i did some pulls manually, and every time the fights over, mq2nav paths the tank back to camp, still dont pull nothing.
 
Yeah it should be finding mobs. Try both ranges at 5000.

Also, it's a longshot, but make sure you're editing the right ini file. One time I thought i was going crazy, but it turned out I was editing a kissassist ini in the release folder rather than macros folder.

Well i'm editing the character.ini inside the macro folder, and yes i do reload ka everytime i make a change. I'm going to try setting both ranges to 5000 and see if that works, post results here soon.

Edit: ok setting the ranges to 5000 just made the process take a bit longer, but it keeps looking for mobs, when mobs are right in front. how do i run this debug thing?
 

debug is an awesome thing! and im most assuredly stupid lol! reading debug i kept seeing the names of the close mobs and then the name of another mob, so i remembered! couple weeks back at 75 i came in this zone and everything but zombies wrecked me, so i made it pull only zombies on the kissassist ini, and totally forgot about it! sorry for all the trouble guys >.<

Yeah lol! but also, the mob was on the list to pull, not the list to ignore wich made me kinda overlook it since i didnt think it would limit mq to "only" pull the mobs on the list, now i know better!
