Algar submitted a new resource:

Project Lazarus MQ2EasyFind Override (Compatible with default ZoneConnections file) - Use Laz custom teleporters and emu-specific stones while keeping your default ZoneConnections.yaml

This file enables custom Project Lazarus zoning options without overwriting the default ZoneConnections.yaml file.
Examples:
 • Valium
 • Klonopin
 • Alaria (in PoK)
 • Correct PoK stone locations
 • Custom connections to the Bazaar (Celli, et al)
This are plenty of things that could be added, but we can grow it over time together! I plan on uploading this to a github site and allowing PRs and additions in the near future. Until that time (and even afterwards), if you have...

Nice! Think the only reason I’ve never used easyfind is I can’t figure out how to get the entire group to click/say at the translocator.

While we don't have a system

Edit: Kinda misunderstood you, sorry, reading is hard.
Yeah I still use rgmercs for that when I'm not using easyfind, but definitely enjoying making those multi-zone hops again (within reason... still a lot of connection data not there).

I'll be adding some common paths manually along the way.

I need to do this process with some other portals, but I wasn't sure if this would automatically get loaded, or if you have to put it into the ingame.cfg to allow it to be activated?

This file is automatically loaded, as stated in the instructions. The FAQ tab explains why and now.

The only current limitation is that this file is not server specific, so those who play on more than one emu with the same mq install will have some decisions to make.

I would like to say if I ever pick up C++ the first thing I will do is endeavour to adjust that in easyfind, but who knows how long that will take, if ever :P

If you have other requests on Laz I'm willing to field them, but not promising to do all of the work for everyone... and, like I said, I'm willing to add contributions from others. I'll get it up on GitHub some time this week.

Before anyone asks, hardcore zones are the same zone name afaik, so that presents some issues. I'm not sure whether it is possible to work around that. I would like to, however.

Can you add these entries to the Override
erudsxing:
- type: Translocator
name: '#Translocator Jempar'
destinations:
- keyword: Travel to Qeynos
targetZone: qeynos
- keyword: Travel to Erudin
targetZone: erudin
Also, can you amend the guildhall entry in the poknowledge: section:
- type: ZoneConnection
switch: 138
targetZone: guildhall
I am assuming the omission of "Travel to" is causing difficulty compared to the default?

Correct

When you do set this up on github, I'd be happy to contribute. I've just been updating the default file as and when I can on my machine - happy to put the ones that work well into a pull request.

Is this distributed with redfetch? I didn't see it in the list and I have the resource watched.

Just to be safe I'll download it from here.

it doesnt know where to put it, and it can't put it in that directory or it risks overwriting someone else's override from another server w/e

I didn't realize that, I'll be mindful of that in the future and download updates myself when you release them. Thanks!

What was it that one blue collar comedian said?
:3

At some point it may be made a "thing", but we would have to likely see about adjusting mq2easyfind to be able to utilize server specific overrides or something similar.
(Or, someone could be adding another way to support it!)

Noticed in Wall of Slaughter the zone to MPG is missing the switch: 2. I'll try to keep posting updates and fixes as I find them. Thanks for keeping this updated man it's super helpful.

When I want to add an entry, I have to copy the existing entries for that zone from the default, or I risk breaking something that someone is already relying on.
It's an imperfect system, as I am also carrying broken entries forward*; thanks for the help getting them fixed. I'll get it added!

* Edit: because if i forced myself to test every connection, every time, i would quit this in a week XD

o for sure man, I'm happy to fix and add as I fix them. I was keeping a seperate file on my own but I'd much rather contribute when I can.

I've not tested the kodtaz connection, simply imported it from the normal ZoneConnections.yaml file.

I noticed there is a typo for the word permafrost in the file. Can we replace all of the permaforst with permafrost.

my apologies.
For example, I type /travel to nexus
It will give me the message it is travelling, but nothing happens. I will screen shot later when I can.
Thanks for the response.

Are you using advanced follow? (The "follow me" button). If so, that is going to interfere with any /nav command, which is how MQ2EasyFind moves you from zone to zone.

If you are using /travelto and getting a message that you are travelling, then this resource is likely working.

would be happy to take a look or help further.

If you get that message, this resource should be working. Refer to my earlier unanswered question please concerning afollow, and also, do you get any other messages? Do you have mq2nav loaded? If so, what happens when you use the nav command to nav to someone? Do you get any messages from that?
