Problem - Problems

Hi all. Brand new to MQ2 and having a little trouble getting up and running.

I my ninjadvloot is not selling to vendor; the items I clicked on /lootsell. My targeting for my SK is not working, when I click F1 it targets me for a fraction of a second and clears target window. My 2 melee, Bard / SK can't seem to move, it's like they're in a follow mode where they take a couple steps then rubberband back. Almost like they're following each other but can't leave the spot they are in. The debug seemed to just keep going it looked like it was repeating itself on some sort of loop.
Also watched some videos to try and set up and I was not able to do /bcga commands, and I could not connect.

When you run kissassist on the sk run it like /mac kissassist tank and dont have anything targeted. It sounds like you have the SK with chase assist turned on and assisting the bard and the bards chaseassist is also on assisting the sk.

For the bcga commands you gotta turn on eqbcs first, right click on the mq2 icon in the system tray and turn it on.

I've never done lootsell with kissassist turned on so I can't help you there.

To turn off chase assist in the ini find chase make it =0 you can also toggle it in game i think its /chase off/on or maybe /chaseassist off/on

It sounds like you have chaseassist set to =1 AND camphere set to =1 that will create the rubber band problem. check that in your ini's and pick one or the other, one should be =1 and the other should be =0

with EQBC for commands, open eqbc from the redguides icon in the task tray. that will open a window, then click on "standalone" that will open up a dos style command window. go ahead a minimize that. then in each character's screen, type /bccmd connect (or if you have key repeater on with ISboxer, just type it for all windows) that will connect you - and it will say so in your MQ window. you can also turn on auto connect /bccmd toggle autoconnect I believe - so you don't have to type in the connect command every time you log in.

that should fix a couple of your problems.

when I try to start eqbcs after starting mq2 I get a little window where I put in IP address (127.0.0.1) Port (2112) and a section that says "service" with a button for stop/start/install/remove. Also 3 buttons on bottom for standalone / debug / Ok.... when i try to start / install / or Ok nothing happens. I was assuming my BCGA commands weren't working because I could not connect.

I just tried logging in again and I did the /mac kissassist tank (without anyone targeted) as my SK and didn't run into the follow issues. Was still not able to get
/mac sellstuff to work either. I will run to the vendor, open window and then it does nothing, then window closes. Also is it normal for all the NPC's names to turn red like it was PvP?

Braedo, thanks for your response as well I was in the middle of responding to Toric so I did not see your reply till after I posted. Thanks to you I was able to get EQBC up and running and can now send commands with /bcga. Still can't sell with /mac sellstuff. Also Have a new problem, when I "right click" a spell slot to try and mem a spell nothing shows up, just the empty windows where the names usually are. Looking further alot of my spells in my spell book are blank now too.... the icon is there, I can mem it, but it has no name and when I right click there is no description / information. The loot in my bags is not quite as bad, but definitely does not show the additional information (in light blue like Value) that was showing up before. I'm going to restart computer and relog and see if some of these bugs will take care of themselves.

spell books and extra item info seems to be fixed now.

in their inis, make sure returntocamp is 0 and chaseassist is 0

on sk do: /mac kissassist tank sknamehere
on bard do: /mac kissassist assist sknamehere

now they setup to fight

now if you want the bard to follow the sk, you go to the bard screen and type /chase 1

and you can run around with a bard on your tail.

to make him stop do /chase 0

for your /mac sellstuff, try t he attached mac, i made a fix i think will help.

After you turn on eqbsc, nothing magic is going to happen it just starts its a service. then in game type /bccmd connect
