Question - PoP Cash Farms (Early 60's.)

Hello all,

I've been searching up PoP cash farms and wanted to see if any one would like to share some information about camps that would be doable with a level 60, or low 60s, group.

I've always been one to set camp at a cash crop spot rather than blaze through levels.

Looking at ornate molds and spells, I see that around lvl 65 (if I'm keyed for PoTactics,) the named there drop tons of ornate + even the runes for lvl 65 mobs.

Sol Ro Temple also looks awesome but would require some serious flagging, which I don't exactly have access to.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Back in the day sebilis was a money making zone. Between coin drops and gems. Get a lvl 60 rog and assassinate the frogs.

Assuming you're running through Phinigel since you're looking at PoP.

Keep in mind that the Plane of Storms will be a mess for a while as it is a serious bottleneck flag for everyone trying to progress into the elemental planes.

I might suggest sticking to older content for a good while as most people head into PoP. People will also be raising tradeskills for that one quest line, so farming components for jewelry, blacksmithing, tailoring, etc. will be in more demand again.

Plane of Nightmare Hobgoblins was my go to spot back in the day,no PoP on my server yet so not sure how good it is anymore.

With the research nerf and supposed stop to making lvl 61-64 spells through research in PoP the PoP dropped parchments/runes should be valuable. I think you would want to do Potactics or BoT if you got flagged for them. I would definately try to get the justice PoP flag done through the instanced raid. Later on once things die down and more flags come BoT earth wing and water rings used to be very popular for the named drops. As you said tactics is also nice. There is also the possibility of doing older raid instances for drops but I believe the value will go down a lot and wont be worth it at low 60s.

If your not in a guild that does POP instance raiding dont forget raid instances should be available to your group of six with the right flags. You can headhunt all the good named in a six hour period weekly per instance.

MVP, that's the goal for my brother and I. We both normally 2-3 box and will have a decent 60's crew: bard, cleric, war, ranger (x2, may sub a monk) shaman.

I was considering doing possibly less populated zones or instances in PoP. I've been looking at the named in PoD for instance, and possible flagging for CoD. From what I've read there's some decent drops/loot from CoD and it should have an instance we can run once a week.

The real loot seems to be had in the Elemental Planes, Fire in particular, but man the flagging alone may be impossible for me.

I wouldnt be surprised to see some pickup grummus raids for CoD flags. Just gotta hope they happen when your online. Nice diamond drops in CoD for sure. Once you guys get BoT / tactics / CoD flagged those raid instances should definately keep you busy. If spells are extremely valuable (im sure they wont be 10+ krono like KEI for first week of luclin but should still be valuable) maybe even the valor/storm instance clears will be worth it. I dont think PoP raid mobs are MOTM buffed but im not sure. If they arent there definately might be a good amount of pickup raiding on them for flags. Maybe a month or two after launch guilds might decide to give out free flag spots to try to help them recruit for when the new progression server opens and some people leave.

I think 84 days after launch LDoN will open giving free flags for the non ele/solro zones.

What about best grind spots to get to 65 on phinigel asap, keeping in mind people will be limited on progression on first week and places that are not going to have 100+. I was thinking SG basement maybe or north cave rats in DN?

Forget the lvl but I remember people
Pulling all the skeletons and AEing them down in Ssra basement.
