I see a lot of INIs here that are highly specific, someone who has all the niche spells/abilities but not many which a new user can very easily just plug in and play with. So, I have decided to make INIs that are pretty basic for "most" classes (the ones I know how to play)

These INIs are meant for you, the player, to expand upon them to your own personal needs. These INIs will play these classes in current content with current gear and not die. They'll do virtually everything they're supposed to do without any personal preferences added in, that's for you to do.

As an example,

Mages Chaotic Benefaction is not in for mages. I have that in a buff macro I personally use when I play because I hate it rebuffing so often.
Druids only heal and buff, I want them prioritizing keeping my tank alive and not dealing damage. If you are doing easy content, you'll want them doing damage too. My profiles are made for Current X-pac at that level.
Shamans only heal and buff, I want them prioritizing keeping my tank alive and not dealing damage. If you are doing easy content, you'll want them doing damage too. My profiles are made for Current X-pac at that level.

I also don't have the tanks give themselves many self buffs because KA has a tendency to spam tank self buffs.

I don't know why it does it, my paladin spams brells and my SKs spam Livio's Covenant and Vizat's Horror every like 5 seconds. I am sure Maskoi will tell me there's something wrong in my INI that it is doing that, but I don't for the life of me know what.

This should get a sticky. Not sure it belongs in the INI thread since they are basic/starters, unless they can be MARKED as such.

Cleric mana buff is "Veturika's PERseverance" not preseverance. Severance is a parting gift for someone who got fired... Preseverance would be giving someone a severance package before they get sacked. Hmm...

They aren't Basic/starters, they're plug and play meaning they'll do everything you want the class to do but they aren't customized to personal preference. IE, they will use the self buffs that don't have stacking issues, use a DPS rotation that is optimized for each of them and hand out pertinent buffs as well as use pertinent burns and what I find to be the appropriate mini burns on double/triple pulls.

What I mean by plug and play is a lot of people have items/misc buffs/misc things in their INIs each customized to their specific character/class/play style. These INIs will load with no issues, no spelling mistakes and as long as you bought all your 100 or 105 spells you will be able to fully utilize them in every way possible.

Hmm. I don't know how this spelling mistake keeps evading me. GRRRR I fixed that one and Illusions of Grandeur MONTHS ago and it's still popping up in some of my INIs.

It's right in my 100 cleric INI, wrong in the 105. Interesting. I wonder which of my clerics has the issue, I'll fix it in the post and I will have to dig through my hundreds of INIs and fix it there too.

Thank you very much for pointing out my mistake. When you have as many INIs as I do it gets tedious making sure they are all absolutely perfect. It has been an ongoing project for me this past month.

Funny - the cleric INI I chose to post here was my most outdated one because it's the cleric I actually play. Bonehead move, but both my INI and the post are fixed. Fret not.

I didn't find you demeaning at all, I just didn't want people getting the wrong idea and I myself am trying to find the right words to describe them. Plug and play is what I came up with, you can literally slap them in and they'll completely work on even the most basic or advanced characters.

i have reasons for taking certain buffs and abilities out of each of them, some abilities I disagree with the use of (Banestrike, it's mathematically not good to use it since it takes place of a real ability which does more damage because real abilities benefit from your AAs/crit chance) most of the time I am annoyed by KA spamming them (such as mages buff Chaotic Benefaction, he refreshes it once every 5 seconds it drives me crazy). Also there's some other things i am sure people will say I am missing that I probably have in buff macros or I don't use

Very well done, would love to see it expand upon. I am generally VERY busy with work and other things and never really have time to immerse myself in manuals and cross referencing for my .INI's... it's nice to see examples I can see all features utilized in then just customize on my own.
 
Actually I think it ought to be stickied at the top of the INI section.

When new folks come here they are expecting "okay... I want it to do everything so...I downloaded this doohickey... put the thingamabob in the whatsit.... why is it not working" I seriously think it would cut down lot on the "I download uberdude's ini and my guy isn't in godmode... what gives!" style posting if instead they had a " THESE ini here will get you going so you can start using this macro right out of the box and playing!" and then customize as things go along.

That's kind of exactly what I made these for/the reason I released them. I have been playing EQ for almost two decades but only using MQ2 for a little over a year now so I have a lot of friends that return to EQ over the years and I tell them "Dude I started using MQ2, check out how awesome it is!!" and I give them my INIs/what I do. Just something to get them started so they can read the INI over, see what spells it is using, how the INI is setup and how it's using the spells etc etc. It's helpful for people who like getting started then learning things themselves by deconstruction/reconstruction.
