I got my chanter to 105 and jumped on the haze thingy. My group are SK, mage, wiz, enc and 2 mercs.
I wasnt really happy with the downshit results.
So being lazy, I turned off my encs macro. Slapped on the good old ranger Autofire program. 50ms timer and banestrike my pet. And poof, no slows or mez.. But pretty much constant haze in group from one keypress :P
Maybe worth it if your doing stuff that does'nt require crowd control or slowing and you are caster heavy.

For whatever reason, even taking out the !${Me.Song[Chromatic Haze]}, it wouldn't fire as quickly as I would prefer and I tried many different variations to increase the click. So, it wouldn't surprise me if there is an alternative, and better, method - which it appears you've found one. However, if you are doing anything else on the Enchanter I found it works in okay.

I don't know anything about the autofire program you're referring to and I'd be interested to try it out - could you provide some more info on that?

I think the only issue I see with this as it makes this character pretty much useless for anything else.

I think it will be VERY easy to spot someone using this because it does show text that your casting a spell over and over again.

If you really want to speed it up just set it up on a simple mac. Xtar 1 being the pet

Rich (BB code):
#turbo 100
Sub Main
:loop
/xtar 1
/casting "Banestrike"
}
/goto :loop

FWIW, if you use mq2bot, there is a setting for DoChromaticHaze=1 to auto use an AA to spam it while also still doing everything else.

Correct Pete but they are more concerned with having it constantly up using the exploit of casting banestrike on pet to trigger it from the proc.

Was fun while it lasted. They actually made the ability better overall (provided you weren't ever doing this in the first place).
