Though you should be aware that if you the crash plugin the only thing the person has to do in look in there dbg.txt to find out who did it. PS. Kath said it was also fixed since i don't own it i don't know buut i can only assume that it is fixed like druid stances are fixed.

There's a new Macroquest plugin available apparently which enables the exploiter to send a tell to your character and instantly crash you to desktop without you ever seeing the tell. How do you know when you've been hit? Open up your dbg.txt file (located in the /logs directory) and see what caused the crash

I removed the name of the character that send the tell. This is someone I've never spoken to before, affiliated to a guild known for their 3rd party program exploitation. This pattern has been reported by other people - stranger sends a tell, you crash immediately to desktop, dbg.txt shows garbled text causing the crash.

So, if you crash to desktop for no reason when you're usually very stable, check your dbg.txt file before logging on. If it looks suspicious in the manner outlied above, SAVE A COPY of the dbg.txt so it doesn't get overwritten. Hopefully the devs can devise a fix to this problem, and hopefully the CS Dept will come down hard on the offenders

(edit: Full dbg.txt is saved and available to any of SoE should it be useful to track down the problem, fix it, and/or punish the guilty)

Yes this was nerfed, however me and thatdude found a way around the nerf it was so simple it is pathetic. However, its detectable and that is why we took it down and are no longer selling it, until we find a way to bypass the detectability which we are working on atm.

Some people do have the new CrashTarget that we sent out to test it on different systems etc to test the dbg. So there will still be player crashing around if they tend to use it.

Cool, I don't care one way or the other about it, but i don't like see redguide members getting busted so i just though i throw a warrning out.
